Tyson Fury plans to weigh around 280lb for his fight with Anthony Joshua on December 11, according to a report on November 2, 2026. That would make him about 15lb heavier than he was for his last fight. Fury and his team have not confirmed the figure, so treat it as reported, not official.
The official answer will come at the Fury vs Joshua weigh-in during fight week in Cardiff.

Why Fury’s Weight Matters Against Joshua
Heavy has worked for Fury before. At 273lb and 277lb he walked Deontay Wilder down, leaned on him and stopped him twice. The extra size let him push a big puncher back and drain his energy in the clinches.
It has also gone wrong. Fury came in at 281lb for his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk and lost clearly on the cards, looking slower than in their first fight at 262lb. Against a quick, slick opponent, the extra weight cost him.
Joshua is closer to Wilder than Usyk in style: a big, powerful puncher rather than a fast mover. A heavier Fury could try to lean on Joshua, smother his right hand and tire him out. The risk is that the extra pounds slow Fury’s feet and make him easier to hit early, when Joshua is at his most dangerous.
